First Love

It's twenty years later and I'm sitting in Bonefish Grill with my First Love.  Who would have ever thought I will be right here in this very moment sitting across the table with the guy who taught me all about love.  The ambience is just right, the drinks taste great, and conversation let's just say is interesting.  I was 15 when I met him at the activity center in my home town.  He was and is the epitome of a gentlemen. Honestly I don't remember how we started conversing that night at the Center, but I do know he lit my heart up from the very first night I met him.  He was kind, he was gentle, he was funny, and I knew I wanted him to be mine.  He was dating another female at the time, but from what I can remember that did not last long.  In no time we were together and fell in love rather quickly.  We became the best of friends.  There was nothing that we couldn't tell one another or talk about. We dated for almost three years and I can honestly say those were 3 of the best years of my life. So fast forward 20 years later and what once was could one day be again!!  To be continued...
